My name is Al Quagliata and I'm a guitarist, teacher and composer with over 35 years of experience on guitar, and 40 years as a musician. I’m also an actor: you can read a bit more about me here.

I’m available in the New York City ⁄ Tri-State area if you’d like to hire me for a gig and I give lessons online, via Skype, so I can teach you no matter where you live. I play and teach in a variety of styles, including jazz, rock, folk and classical. I can also give you lessons in music theory, sight reading and composition ⁄ songwriting.

My rates are $45 for 45 minutes, $50 for 1 hour, and $65 for 1 1/2 hours. Rates are payable to me through PayPal when you book the lesson. If you have to cancel, you need to give me 24 hours advance notice and I keep half the lesson fee; anything less than 24 hours and I keep the entire lesson fee.
